Authors must confirm that studies involving human participants received ethics committee approval and that participants provided informed consent. Animal studies must comply with institutional and national guidelines for humane treatment. Patient data must be fully anonymized. Ethics approval details including committee name and reference number must be stated in the manuscript. Manuscripts without appropriate ethical approval may be rejected.
